It’s Time For Some Electro

24 February 2009 263 views 5 Comments

As promised in this post, here are some more scans of the classic Electro Rock pages from The Street Scene magazine. You can now check out up to issue 5 in glorious high-resolution on my flickr.

If you like your old skool electro, be sure to check out the Electro Nation weekly podcast. They also have a new live show every Friday @ 9pm.

Below are the pages from issue 5. Anyone know who did the Electro Rock outline?

What publication is this from? And is there any way to zoom in on it?

It’s from The Street Scene magazine which was published way back in 1985. You can see large zoomable scans on my flickr account at http://www.flickr.com/photos/iamdek/sets/72157612794704360/

Thanks man I can’t believe I’m reading this again, I wish I’d kept my original copies!

Bizarrely I’ve just posted some Street Scene scans on my old school hip hop blog (Ageing B-Boys Unite! http://www.repo136.blogspot.com ).
And even more bizarrely I’ve just posted after the legendary Waxer from Disco Scratch. Small world! Morgan Khan’ll be next, I’ve got money on it.
