Cortae – Short Term Memory Loss (The Rarest Easygroove Tune)

You’ll see this tune on various tracklists for Easygroove sets during 1993 (Dreamsacpe 7, Helter Skelter, etc) but you won’t find the tune in discogs or any online shop. It’s often mis-spelled as ‘Costae’ and also referred to as ‘S.A.D. Productions Vol. 1′ making it even more confusing. It’s actually by MC DJ Ribbs, Dave Tidy & DJ Dren. East Side Posse – UK Old Skool Hip Hop

Many, many years ago (well, about 22 I think) I got myself a copy of this tape made by a group calling themselves East Side Posse. It’s been sat in my stash unplayed for many years now but whilst having a bit of spring clean today I discovered it once more. Pirate Radio Could Kill You

Ofcom put pirate radio back in the news once again with it’s claims that, “the broadcasts can put lives at risk by interfering with emergency service frequencies, and can also block legitimate stations.” However, Steve from Ice Cold FM says that most stations now use microwave links that are completely interference free. Oddly, the BBC have published two articles about this subject today, so you can also read about the pirates’ view of pirate radio.
Reported today on the BBC Technology pages. Back in 2007 they made exactly the same claims. …
