I’ve been working my way through ID’ing the tunes on this set but only managed to nail half of them. It’s mostly progressive house from 1993, so a long way from the standard Easygroove repertoire! Any additional help on solving the missing ID’s would be greatly appeciated. You can download the complete set from Rapidshare or listen to short samples of the remaining unkowns on the tuneID.com page. Here is what has been ID’d so far :

You’ll see this tune on various tracklists for Easygroove sets during 1993 (Dreamsacpe 7, Helter Skelter, etc) but you won’t find the tune in discogs or any online shop. It’s often mis-spelled as ‘Costae’ and also referred to as ‘S.A.D. Productions Vol. 1′ making it even more confusing. It’s actually by MC DJ Ribbs, Dave Tidy & DJ Dren. If anyone wants to sell me a copy, feel free to get in touch

Hetzer on discogs suggested, “Computing a *relative* Score = Wanted By/Owned By, i.e. the higher this score is the more obscure is the release.” might throw up a nice list of obscure tunes … and he’s not wrong! So that’s the final list of ‘wanted’ tunes I’m going to run off. I’ll try and think of a few more useful things to do with this data. All suggestions gratefully received.

I uploaded this lengthy piece of footage last night to youtube. SL2 (Slipmatt & Lime) perform a 23 minute live PA at a Dance Paradise event (most likely to have been in Great Yarmouth, but which one I don’t know I’m afraid). All the classics are on this; On A Ragga Tip, Way In My Brain, Aftershock, etc.
The video compression is a bit iffy, but the sound quality is just fine. Sit back and enjoy!
EDIT: Found the flyer for this event on the excellent archive at Old Skool Anthemz. ‘Count …
