Graffiti

Scanner out of the box and back up and running, so this is now the starting point for photos of some of my walls .. heh … you gots to start somewhere :)

Dek & Argos, Pigs Lane 2005

This was just a quick winter wall whipped up in a couple of hours. The monkeys were an after thought, and looked terrible in the flesh. Amazing what a photo can hide!

I still like this two man production three years after it was done. Ignore the 2002 on it .. this was 100% 2003. The dog character comes from a Halo Jones graphic novel.

Syks, Dek & Skore, Fulham 2001

I painted a quite a few end walls down at Fulham, but this probably holds up as being the best of the bunch.

Skore, Syks & Dek, Plaistow 2002
Skore, Syks & Dek, Plaistow 2002
The premise of this three man was better than the finished article. The fill-in ended up looking too flat, and the background was dull and time-consuming to paint. Can’t win them all.

I don’t actually remember painting this … just vaguely recall something about the cloud and not having enough reds to go around so it ended up disappearing behind my piece. Probably didn’t like it at the time so I didn’t take photos. Skore sent this over this scan today, and it’s actually not too bad. Result.

Dek, Siks & Skore, Westbourne Park 2003

Just found this in a heap of flicks. Didn’t like it at the time because I thought my piece was too simple. To be fair, I still agree that Siks & Skore burnt big time, but the whole wall looks a lot better three years on even with my feeble effort.
