I’ve never turned down the opportunity to watch an old kung fu film, so when Shao Lin yu Wu Dang dropped through the letterbox today it went straight into the DVD player … and it didn’t fail to disappoint. It’s got all the key elements; bad dubbing, shocking acting, blinding fight scenes, avenging of family death, your style is weak … but best of all, it’s been sampled left, right & center.
