Just a quick post to mention that I’ll be adding video/mp3 clips to many of the old skool hardcore entries in discogs over the next few weeks. I spent some time trying to nail the quickest and easiest way to create individual vids for each track – and succeeded. With the addition of youtube’s bulk upload facility, it shouldn’t take long to get quite a few online and tagged on to the appropriate discogs entry. I did a trial run on 2 releases last night :

Some more old skool footage upped to youtube. This clip is taken from The Global Dance Party VHS. Live PA footage from Sub Love at Tribal Gathering. Nice. To be honest, apart from this and the Danny Breaks segment, this vid isn’t really worth seeking out.

I uploaded this lengthy piece of footage last night to youtube. SL2 (Slipmatt & Lime) perform a 23 minute live PA at a Dance Paradise event (most likely to have been in Great Yarmouth, but which one I don’t know I’m afraid). All the classics are on this; On A Ragga Tip, Way In My Brain, Aftershock, etc.
The video compression is a bit iffy, but the sound quality is just fine. Sit back and enjoy!
